Herminia Carlsson

Herminia Carlsson has been a freelance composer/songwriter for film/TV music for the the past decade with over 80 published titles and many placed works. She writes both songs and instrumental music, credits include Oprah, Dr. Oz (for which she landed the opening theme for all of 2011), Nate Berkus, Biography, Discovery and OWN. She has collaborated with many on the LA music scene; Matt Hirt, Holly Mathis, Rick Palombi, Jeff Young and Torbjorn Andersson. Her band Little Days, is a joint project with producer/writer/bassist Jorgen Carlsson (Gov’t Mule). Even though they come from two very different backgrounds, as Jorgen is from Sweden and Mini a Cuban/American, their musical influences are the same. Being the avid pop fans they are, they’ve managed to create a sound which combines eclectic styles from the seminal music of the 60’s and 70’s.
