David Thiele
Chicago native David Thiele is a multi-talented, vocalist, writer, musician, producer and performer who has developed and honed his craft to near perfection. Migrating to L.A. in 2003 to pursue a music career, David has achieved more in just a few short years than most artists achieve in a lifetime including; self-producing his own album, winning multiple songwriting awards, placing music on network television shows (CBS’ “Cold Case”, WB’s “High School Reunion”, etc.), being named one of Music Connection Magazine’s “Hottest Unsigned Artists” two years in a row and voted “Best Of Fest” at the Temecula Int’l Film & Music Festival. David’s work in Nashville writing songs for BMG Publishing added to his ability to create tasteful melodies and heart gripping hooks. Comparisons ranging from Duncan Sheik to Jeff Buckley have been made about this talented young man, but David's style is truly his own. His freshman album, appropriately titled “The Opening Act”, was wholly produced, written and performed by David, exemplifying his extraordinary, diverse talent. Recently signed to New Land Music Records, David is getting ready to release his first studio album in 2008.
