DANA's third album, Through The Concrete & The Rocks (1998), was produced by Steve Addabbo and also released on Water Records. This album Through The Concrete & The Rocks achieved Top 20 on the Billboard Internet Sales Chart and included the Top 40 AC/Adult Alternative hit "A Little Light." The record made a significant showing on Gavin’s Adult Contemporary and Adult Alternative charts. The song "Dandelions" was also featured in the film, Amati Girls. As Seth Rogovoy perceptively wrote in the Berkshire Eagle, "The slight catch in DANA's yearning voice is the sonic equivalent of the sense of doubt that pervades her songs. Doubt is perhaps unusual for such a spiritual-minded believer, but it's the strange combination of uncertainty and faith that provides the tension in (her) work, (keeping) a listener coming back for more."
