Clifton Oliver is well known to many fans in the theatre world, having spent the past 4 years in staring roles from Broadway to LA, as Simba in The Lion King and featured roles in Rent and Grease. Clifton is currently a leading man in the block buster, Wicked. Fall 2006 brings Clifton’s debut to the recording industry. Garnishing the attention of The Roman Group and WACBIZ, this talented writer and seasoned vocalist is embracing a solo career. Inspired by the greats, Clifton’s style is “modern retro” – a mixture of pure pop and R&B, backed by heartfelt vocals reminiscent of the emotional delivery of Luther Vandross coupled with the pop energy of Michael Jackson.
