Amber Alert-Em LA has been fiening for a major female Hip Hop star. A few women have flirted with the idea, but none out of Compton California, and none as focused and driven as this one. Amber, also known as, Amber Alert, has made it her business to represent her city and become the prodigy Cali has been waiting for. Amber Nicole Fouse was born and raised in Compton. Surrounded by Crips, Bloods, and Hip Hop. Raised by her single mother with the help of her grandparents, Amber never really had a father. She grew up two blocks away from him and his family and never saw him. It was difficult for her and always used as an excuse to hang out with guys. She played basketball and ran the streets with mostly males. Just looking for that male connection. As she grew, she found that father figure and male connection in her Grandfather. Amber went on to win National and State championships with her high school basketball team, which lead to a basketball scholarship. She later hooped in college and studied theatre. Once in theatre, she realized she could one day command a stage. She had been writing since age 9, and was now determined to share her talents with the world. By age 17, Amber had a few songs under her belt. Passing out cd's she produced by herself just to create a fanbase. On the verge of taking on the street alone, Amber met Andre Taylor of the Muzic Doctorz. Andre is half of the production team known as the Muzic Doctorz ("MD"). His partner is Louis Harden. The Muzic Doctorz have been producing for a while and have worked with artist such as Mack 10, Nate Dog, Rahiem Davaghn, Tank, and David Banner. They currently have music on CSI NY, Sopranos, BET, MTV, and the list goes on. The Muzic Doctorz recognized Amber's raw talent immediately and began working with her on her first solo mixtape/album. When Amber was just 2 years old she knew every word to the song "Push It" by the girl group Sat-n-Pepa. She wasn't sure then if rap was necessarily her calling, but by the time Queen Latifah released UNITY, Amber was reciting every ad lib. With just a pen and a pad, Amber is swearing into the game as "Miss Consistancy." Prepared to continue on a legacy of great female rappers and with the objective of bringing back the old school feel of hip hop, Amber is more than anxious. While still adding original sound and swagger, Amber's voice stands out like she is already famous. Without sounding like any one else, she sounds familiar.
