You may say she's a dreamer, but Aliza Hava is definitely not your typical singer/songwriter. A breathtaking performer, her introspective lyrics explore the deepest levels of love, life and the importance of positive social change. Hava's debut, RISE, is a blend of classic rock, acoustic guitar and soul influence. Released on her indie label, FireMusicFaerie Productions, RISE is an artistic statement of conscience calling for an end to war, a keen awareness of our collective environmental responsibilities and honoring the unity of humanity. Tracks from RISE have been heard on independent radio stations throughout the U.S. and overseas, including All for Peace Radio in Israel/Palestine, where Hava has lived and worked with various groups promoting peaceful coexistence. In 2012, Hava Executive Produced Harmony in the Holy Land, a sacred music & activism event promoting coexistence between Muslims, Christians and Jews. The event was live streamed in partnership with several organizations promoting healing amongst the children of Abraham, including the Elijah Board of World Religious Leaders & The Jerusalem Peacemakers. She also Executive Produced Peace Day LIVE, a global concert celebrating the United Nations' International Day of Peace, which hosted twelve unique live streamed concerts on six continents, in partnership with Playing for Change, Earthdance International, and over 40 educational and non-profit organizations. Her work and performances have taken her across the U.S. to Australia, India, Latin America, the Far East and the Middle East. She is a recipient of the ‘Human Spirit Award’ presented by Talent for Humanity, an international organization bringing light to individuals who dedicate their talents towards transforming societal realities for the common good. Hava has appeared at Madison Square Garden, The Apollo Theater, Mountain Jam, New Orleans’ House of Blues and music festivals internationally. She has shared the stage with celebrated artists, appearing with Dr. John, Michael Franti, Derek Trucks, Matisyahu, Tab Benoit & the Voice of the Wetlands, Jefferson Starship, Kevin Costner & Modern West and Woodstock legend, Richie Havens. Her original songs joins the likes of Annie Lenox and Rickie Lee Jones on the soundtrack of the award-winning documentary FEMME: Women Healing the World. Directed by Emmanuel Itier and Executive Produced by Sharon Stone, FEMME features Nobel Laureates and prominent female leaders, teachers and artists who use their gifts to help create a better world.
