Aaron Winters

Aaron's musical journey took him from his home town in Carthage, Indiana to Nashville. As a young kid growing up in a farm community in Indiana, country music was the theme, but Winters resorted to his fathers music collection from decades past. When most kids were listening to pop music, Aaron was researching who would later become his musical forefathers. His two EP's "Ocean Airliner" and "Supernatural Delight" are as diverse as the road that got him here; with funk, soul, and rock influences, and an appreciation for the smooth songs of the seventies. Winters' songs seem to resonate with a respect for influences such as Jim Croce, Eric Clapton, and the BeeGees. At the same time Winters is cited as a one man, funk-filled, hybrid of the Counting Crows, with a warm timbre paralleling the voice of Adam Duritz or Jack Johnson. At the tender age of 22, there is much ahead for this solo performer. Aaron Winters is a song writing phenomenon, who will truly be affecting the world of music for years to come. "Groove-inflected artist, Winters, blends funk, soul, and rock in his new album 'Supernatural Delight.'" - Nashville Rage "With a voice that could move mountains, Winters is a breath of fresh air to the everyday monotony or singer/songwriters." - WARQ Columbia, SC
